FLIGHT 1

2010 Casa Rivas Sauvignon Blanc Reserva – Chile, Central Valley, Maipo Valley Peach and grapefruit on the nose, with crushed rock underneath, and some roasted sage at the end. Lots of minerals on the palate, along with great acidity. Grapefruit dominates the flavors, but there is some tropical fruit, plus some herbs on the finish. (89 Points)

2010 Casa Rivas Chardonnay Reserva – Chile, Central Valley, Maipo Valley Lots of butter and nuts on the nose, with pineapple and citrus on the tail end. Good acidity on the palate, and very fruity, with tropical fruit and nuts upfront, and subtle butter notes on the finish. (88 Points)

2010 Casa Rivas Merlot Reserva – Chile, Central Valley, Maipo Valley Lots of oaky vanilla on the nose, followed by black fruit and spice. Soft and spicy on the palate, with blackberry and cherry on the mid-palate, and a touch of oak on the finish. (87 Points)

FLIGHT 2

2009 Casa Rivas Carménère Gran Reserva – Chile, Central Valley, Maipo Valley Cherry and jalapeño on the nose, with oak and pepper towards the end. Soft and juicy on the palate, with cherry and pepper upfront, and some oak on the finish. (90 Points)

2010 Casa Rivas Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva – Chile, Central Valley, Maipo Valley Coffee beans and mocha on the nose, with cherry and blackberry in the middle, and some spice at the end. Soft on the palate, with dark chocolate on the front end, some black fruit and spice on the mid-palate, and a good cherry finish. (89 Points)

2010 Casa Rivas Carménère – Chile, Central Valley, Maipo Valley Cherry on the nose, with background notes of spice, and oak. The also some vegetables notes at the end. Cherry and oak on the palate, with some spice on the mid-palate, and a nice vegetal finish. (88 Points)

2009 Montes Carménère Purple Angel – Chile, Central Valley, Rapel Valley, Colchagua Valley Chocolate and tobacco on the nose, with blackberry and black current, and some oaky vanilla at the end. Dark chocolate and cigar leaves on the palate, with back fruit on the mid-pala, and a good oaky finish. )91 Points(
